What we do

We promote the value of the visitor economy to the ACT and the surrounding South East NSW region. We act as a think tank and policy generator, facilitating partnerships with all industry sectors through our regular forums and related working groups.

 

Our significant contribution to the region’s visitor economy is organising and hosting the Tourism Advisory Forums. These Forums provide a platform and opportunity for Government and Industry Leaders, locally and nationally, to interact with the whole of the regions tourism industry. Issues that challenge our industry are raised and solutions considered, that further support the ongoing growth and economic stability of our entire region.

 

We make submissions to Federal, State and the Territory Government's on budget and policy formation and where appropriate bring matters that affect businesses and the industry to the attention of the responsible Minister and their staff.
